Upon graduation, students shall be awarded a joint Master of Science degree in International Air Transport Operations Management (IATOM) by HKUST and ENAC. Since the IATOM degree is accredited and recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, a separate certificate recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education will also be issued by ENAC.

It provides a comprehensive range of higher education programs ranging from Bachelor to Master of Science, Aviation Advanced Master as well as Ph.D. in the domains of aeronautics and aviation. It is also well known for providing training to pilots from airlines worldwide.
ENAC and HKUST jointly offer Master program in International Air Transport Operations Management which is a unique opportunity for students to gain international exposure. The program emphasizes the application of up-to-date engineering and management concepts or methods in the aeronautical and aviation industry.
Admission and English Proficiency Requirements
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Engineering Management / Materials Science and Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Civil Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university or tertiary institution. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in other non-engineering disciplines must have relevant working experience in the air transport industry or aviation related fields.
The nominal program fee for 2020 Fall intake is HK$215,000 (paid in 4 installments: 1st installment - HK$64,500; 2nd – 4th installments – pay with euro)
Students are required to complete a total of 63 credits (126 ECTS), including a first term of 18 credits (36 ECTS) of courses at HKUST, second and third terms of a total of 30 credits (60 ECTS) of courses at ENAC, and a 6-month internship of 15 credits (30 ECTS) in the air transport industry. Remark: This is an exempted program under the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance in Hong Kong. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualifications to which this program may lead.
