

Program Details
Admission and English Proficiency Requirements
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or tertiary institution. For English Proficiency Requirements, please refer to HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School.
Program Fee
The nominal program fee for full-time study is HK$147,000 (paid in 2 installments) and part-time study is HK$120,000 (paid in 4 installments) respectively.
Curriculum
Students are required to complete a total of 24 credits of coursework. An Independent Study can also be undertaken for a maximum of 3 credits. Subject to prior approval of the Program Director, students may take a maximum of 9 credits of courses offered by other MSc programs. Continuing Education Fund (CEF)
This program has been included in the list of reimbursable courses under the Continuing Education Fund. It is recognized under the Qualifications Framework (QF Level [6]). After 1 April 2019, successful applicants who are HK citizens and are eligible for CEF may be reimbursed with a maximum sum of HK$20,000 upon successful completion of the entire program with an overall attendance rate over 70%. For details and updates of eligibility, application, and reimbursement procedures (in particular the reimbursement period from the date of application), please check the CEF Office or 3142-2277 (24-hour enquiry hotline).
Attention: Effective from 1 April 2019, there will be a series of enhancement measures related to CEF applied to all new, currently valid and closed accounts.
