ASPIRE Student Workshop

The Asian Science and Technology Pioneering Institutes of Research and Education (ASPIRE) Student Workshop, held annually in summer as part of the ASPIRE Forum, aims to bring together students of the ASPIRE member universities for a week of collaboration and exchange through joint investigation of a particular research theme.

[Update News: Since 2010, the ASPIRE Forum, which encompasses the Student Workshop, the Symposium, and the Vice Presidents and Senior Staff Meeting, has annually been hosted by the chair university of the League. However, due to the global spread of COVID-19, only the Vice Presidents and Senior Staff Meeting was held in 2020, and the meeting was conducted online. Vice Presidents from each member university introduced their respective university’s efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on a proposal by Dr. Mizumoto, a joint message from the Vice Presidents to the League’s students, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation, was adopted.
